NDJ by Rivulis Micro Sprinklers: The Complete Range for Greenhouse and Horticultural Irrigation
Share
Why Micro Sprinklers?
Micro sprinklers occupy an important middle ground in irrigation — delivering more water and wider coverage than drip emitters, but with far greater precision and efficiency than conventional overhead sprinklers. For greenhouses, nurseries, orchards, and propagation areas, they offer the flexibility to match water delivery to the specific needs of the crop, the growing environment, and the irrigation infrastructure.
NDJ by Rivulis has developed one of the most comprehensive micro sprinkler ranges available, built around the modular Hadar 7110 platform and the advanced Green Spin bridgeless inverted sprinkler. Both ranges are stocked by IrriSmart and available for UK delivery.
The Hadar 7110 Micro Sprinkler System

The Hadar 7110 is a modular micro sprinkler platform built around a bayonet coupling system. This means the sprinkler head, base, and stand components can be mixed and matched to create the right configuration for your application — without needing to stock multiple complete assemblies. The bayonet connection allows heads to be swapped quickly in the field, making maintenance and reconfiguration straightforward.
All Hadar sprinklers share the same core design principles: precision water distribution, chemical-resistant materials, and a wide range of flow rates to suit different crop water demands and system pressures.
Hadar Mist Sprayer
The Hadar Mist produces a fine mist pattern, making it ideal for propagation, cuttings, and microclimate management where gentle, even moisture is needed without disturbing delicate plant material. Available in five flow rates — 30, 61, 75, 103, and 166 L/h — it can be matched to a wide range of system pressures and spacing requirements.
Best for: Propagation, cuttings, seedling establishment, humidity management.
Hadar 180° Sprayer
The Hadar 180 delivers a half-circle distribution pattern, making it the right choice for beds and borders against walls or structures where a full 360° pattern would waste water outside the growing area. Available in 61, 103, 128, and 166 L/h.
Best for: Edge rows, wall-side beds, polytunnel side irrigation, any application where a half-circle pattern is needed.
Hadar Upside Down Rotor
The Hadar Upside Down is designed for overhead mounting — suspended from wires or overhead structures — and delivers a rotating spray pattern downwards onto the crop. This keeps the sprinkler head above the canopy, reducing the risk of blockage from plant growth and making it well suited to dense greenhouse plantings. Available in 61, 103, 128, and 166 L/h.
Best for: Overhead greenhouse irrigation, dense canopy crops, suspended wire systems.
Hadar Bayonet Sprayer
The Hadar Bayonet uses the standard bayonet connection for easy integration into existing Hadar systems. Available in 61, 103, and 128 L/h, it provides a reliable full-circle spray pattern for general irrigation applications.
Best for: General greenhouse and nursery irrigation, replacement heads for existing Hadar systems.
Hadar Medium Range Rotor
The Hadar Medium Range rotor extends coverage compared to the standard mist and spray heads, making it suitable for wider spacing in open growing areas. Available in 61 and 87 L/h.
Best for: Nursery beds, open growing areas, wider sprinkler spacing.
Hadar Extra Range Rotor
The Hadar Extra Range delivers the widest coverage in the Hadar rotor family, suited to larger open areas where maximum throw is needed. Available in 103, 128, and 166 L/h.
Best for: Orchards, large nursery areas, open field applications, wider row spacing.
Green Spin Bridgeless Inverted Micro Sprinkler

The Green Spin Push Fit represents a step forward in micro sprinkler technology. As a bridgeless, non-drip inverted sprinkler, it eliminates the central bridge found in conventional sprinkler heads — the component most prone to causing uneven distribution and wear. The result is exceptional uniformity across the wetted area and superior wear resistance for a longer operational life.
Key Features
- Bridgeless design — removes the main cause of uneven distribution in conventional micro sprinklers
- Non-drip — no dripping between irrigation cycles, protecting crops and reducing disease pressure
- Inverted mounting — overhead installation keeps the head above the canopy for unobstructed distribution
- Push-fit connection — rapid installation without additional fittings, reducing labour time
- Superior wear resistance — engineered for long operational life in demanding horticultural environments
- Exceptional uniformity — consistent water distribution promotes even crop development
Green Spin Variants
- Green Nozzle — 105 L/h (RA3204)
- Orange Nozzle — 120 L/h (RA3205)
- Blue Nozzle — 200 L/h (RA3207)
- Replacement Filter (RA3212) — inline filter for the Green Spin push-fit connection
Best for: Commercial greenhouse overhead irrigation, high-uniformity applications, crops requiring consistent water distribution.

Stands, Bases, and Accessories
A complete micro sprinkler system requires the right mounting and connection components. IrriSmart stocks the full range of NDJ accessories to complete your installation:
Micro Sprinkler Stands
The Sprinkler Micro Stands range elevates sprinkler heads to the correct height above the crop, eliminating shadowing and dead zones. Options include:
- 60cm stand with 4/7mm butterfly and barb (RA3170A) — for lower canopy crops
- 100cm stand with 4/7mm butterfly and barb (RA3170B) — for taller crops
- 50cm PVC lead with bayonet (RA3000) — for bayonet-connected heads
- 100cm PVC lead with bayonet (RA3001) — for taller installations
- Plastic spike (RA3037) and Spike 31 Black (RA3040) — ground stakes for stake-mounted applications
- 4/7mm barbed joiner (RA3036) — for extending or joining micro tube runs
Bayonet Bases and Plugs
The Bayonet Bases and Plugs range provides the connection points between your mainline and the sprinkler head:
- 1/2" Bayonet Base (RA3005) — for 1/2" threaded connections
- 3/8" Bayonet Base (RA3004) — for 3/8" threaded connections
- Barbed Bayonet Female (RA3003) — for 4/7mm PE tube connections
- Barbed Bayonet Male (RA3002) — for 4/7mm PE tube connections
- Bayonet Plug (RA3038) — for blanking unused bayonet positions
- Blanking Plug 3/8" Male (RA5380) — for blanking 3/8" threaded outlets
Micro Sprinkler Tube
The NDJ Micro Sprinkler Tube 4/7mm is the standard supply tube for connecting sprinkler stands and heads to the mainline. The 4/7mm size (4mm internal, 7mm external diameter) is the industry standard for micro irrigation lateral connections.
System Design Tips
- Flow rate selection — match the sprinkler flow rate to your system's available flow and the number of heads per zone. Too many high-flow heads on a single zone will reduce pressure and compromise uniformity.
- Pressure — most Hadar and Green Spin heads are designed to operate in the 1.5–3.0 bar range. Check the operating pressure at the head, not just at the pump or header.
- Filtration — micro sprinkler nozzles can block if the water supply contains particles. A screen or disc filter upstream of the lateral is strongly recommended.
- Spacing — sprinkler spacing should be matched to the throw radius of the chosen head. Overlapping patterns improve uniformity; under-spacing creates dry spots.
- Modular flexibility — the Hadar bayonet system means you can change heads without replacing the entire assembly. Keep a stock of alternative heads to adapt to changing crop requirements.
